To celebrate the new year, we made fresh bruschetta and paired it with the Bishop's Blend. It was a fantastic way to start off the year, and we'll remember Bishop's Blend as the first bottle of wine we drank in 2010!

At Passport last year I tried the Malbec 2007 which I was told was not ready to drink, and it was like ambrosia for the Gods. Rose petals flushed my nose and my palate as I drank one of the best wines I've ever tasted. I have tried many and used to be a big fan of Chateauneuf du Pape. Then I was hooked I tried the 2008 Malbec at the St. Nick's event and was told it was not ready. Are you kidding? It's soooo ready and so wonderful.

Our honeymoon in Italy gave us the chance to see how much wine is a part of the social fabric of everyday life. By making wine, we want to create more of those types of memorable experiences. What got us going? “Crush It” a new book by Gary Vaynerchuk* (@garyvee). It got us thinking about creating a community with our customers. We created this contest to make it easy to try our wines and form your own opinion and if you like them, as many people do, follow us on our winemaking adventure.
